The vScan-SE Locator combines simplicity, accuracy, and intelligent functionality to help users locate underground utilities safely and efficiently. Featuring active, passive, and Sonde locating modes, along with line direction and depth indication, it provides the information needed to reduce utility strikes and improve productivity. Combining intelligent functionality with an intuitive user experience, it enables operators to accurately locate buried utilities while capturing valuable field data for analysis and reporting.
With built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, field data can be uploaded directly to free VMMap Cloud for mapping and documentation, while configurable alerts enhance safety by warning users of shallow utilities, signal overload, overhead cables, and excessive swinging. The vScan-SE M model extends functionality with an integrated metal detection mode, enabling efficient location of buried metal objects such as valve boxes, manhole covers, and access lids.
